   Once upon a time. there was a boy named Joseph, He was very poor. But he had a dream to become a really fast runner, he would always win his races. But he never had any money to get better shoes. He would always be the only one that is barefoot. one day when he had a race he came first place. A running coach saw that Joseph had skill. So one day he talked to him and bought him some shoes the first time he ran with them he didnt run as fast as he normally does. But then one day. he learnt that you dont need money to run fast.

 Rosa Parks was someone that stood up for people around america, One of the things she did was when she was sick of the different things, one day when she gets into a bus driver said that she had to move because a white person had to sit there then she said No because she was sick of it. After that she had to go to prison. But after that she changed how white and black people had to do things separately.

Dear Jacinda Ardern, I think that here in new zealand that when we go to shops the things are very expensive, I think this could change because some people don't make as much money as others. A reason why the prices should go down is because that will make less people starve, and that's always a plus. Another thing is that if the prices go down then everyone can eat healthy, Something like salmon is very expensive but its very good for you. Another reason for the price problem is that you would usaly have to buy things every week such as meat,veges,Fruit and much more. It might be wrong but normally kiwi familys spend quite a lot of money for food. So thats why I think you should lower the price of food. Kind regards, Manuk

This is mine

Yusra and her Sister escaped just and they went on a boat to go to europe , and while they were going the engines broke on the boat so Yusra and her sister had to save the passengers on the boat so they jumped out and saved the passengers,

A year later She became very popular because of her swimming, then she got reconised by the olympic communite, and became apart of the olpmpic team and then she competed in the rio olopics in 2016

Now Yusra is a professinol swimmer.

Hello Bloggers, Im back with another activity. For this one we had to read about to famous rugby players Richie Mccaw and Jonah Lomu. For the activity we had to imagine that we were a superhero for a day, and then we had to choose three super powers. It took me a while to choose because I want all of them but my favourites were

1. Shape shifting, because I could turn into any animal and talk to them. For example if there was a turtle I could shapeshift to a turtle and ask the turtle whats wrong.

Hello Bloggers as the summer learning journey has started I have done my first activity. You will be seeing more as I will be doing the activates day by day. But for this activity we had to read about the ocean on how in the old days they had to travel by stars sun and more. So for this activity we had to write 10 food things to bring on your ocean journey but... there is no refrigerator and no freezer. So we had to think wisely, this is mine.

I selected These Items Because  they dont need anything special and most of them a pretty healthy, and It could last you a long time before you finish of it. Something that could happen is if the bread gets rotten, or if the chocolate melts. But there is much more food to supply.

Hello Bloggers, this week for reading we were reading a story called The Game. I think It was pretty cool because it was about a space game that you had to play. So for our task we had to make our own game controller and list what the controls are. This is my one.

In Class for the first time we are using Biteable. It is a new thing for us,we have been having some problems in class about respect. So we had to make a biteable about respect I did a poem.
I really like biteable because it is really easy to use.

For Reading this week We were reading a story about a Artist so we had to use his tips and make a drawing from a story. My Story is the Chracter Description were I choosed to describe Spongebob.

Spongebob is a crack up sponge Just like a comedian. His finest friends are patrick and squidward but squidward is always going BLAH BLAH BLAH. He works at the Krusty krab in Bikini Bottom. And of course no one can forget the almighty gary the snail. He is also outstanding at making Krabby patties.

Market Day

COME AND JOIN OUR MARKET DAY AT ST BERNADETTE'S SCHOOL.

We will be having a market day on Friday the 6th of December. There in our class Rm 5 we are going to be selling waffles,spiders,pie face and Wet sponge throwing. My group is doing waffles so we will be making waffles. this is my poster 

But other groups had to do other posters, and all the money we earn it goes to our class prize. There is also other classes selling things so you can have a fun day. It starts at 2.00Pm and finishes at 4.00pm.

There is also a Muffety day on Friday. you will have to bring a gold coin donation and the donation goes to our Kapa Haka uniforms.

Christmas Resoulution

For Re we have been Learning about Mary. So this lesson we were looking about how When the Angel came to tell Mary that Jesus will be born Mary didn't say no She agreed. So We had to Make a google drawing saying how we could be a disciple of Christ, and we had to write it down as a resolution for Christmas.
